Turtle~Schell Photography     Idaho Rural and Nature photography

As a kid, I always admired my grandmother~
She was born in 1919, and was a commercial

photographer, pilot, huntress & fisherman extroidinaire.

She overcame tuberculosis & cancer at a young age, & continued life without complaint till her cancer

returned & took her from us at the tender age of 59.
As I approached my 50th year, I made a serious

life~change, moved to the mountains of Idaho,

and began persuing my own dream of

being a writer & photographer.
In the process, I have lived in the same area where my grandmother fished & hunted, and have become

quite accomplished at fishing,  have hunted

for 4 years now, and am writing poetry & stories

that include my beloved Idaho mountains.

My life is the mountains, photography, & nature...
